kafka dream

i don't remember the first part but the dream ended like this:
three guys were interrogating and torturing a guy. i was either there watching this or an invisible omniscient narrator.
their torture method was terrible, first one of them shot his legs then his arms, meanwhile the guy was screaming.
the torturer was planing to shoot him once more as he was not talking, but suddenly the poor guy said, "hey stop! i'll tell you something about Kafka." the torturer said, "we are not asking you about Kafka, we don't need that information." the guy said, "i wasn't even going to tell you this but since i feel close to dying i want this knowledge out."
this caught the attention of torturers and they let him speak.
i tried very hard to hear what he was saying, as i felt he might be saying something crucial about Kafka, but i couldn't hear him and also i was distracted by his attempt to unlock his cuffs.
He finally managed to unlock them and to the surprise of three torturers he showed his free hands and took up the knitting stuff right in front of him.
i woke up.
